On February 7, 2026, Hydesville kindergartners were invited to attend the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) Eel River Valley Chapter Annual Student Awards Celebration. Three students proudly led the Pledge of Allegiance. Later in the program, the students were recognized and thanked for creating poppies for the Veterans Day celebration and were presented with gift bags in appreciation of their efforts.
